The World Economic Forum has honored Hajo van Beijma, co-founder and director of TTC as Young Global Leader 2014 for his commitment and accomplishments in the field of mobile and social change. The World Economic Forum (WEF) is one of the most influential organizations of the world. Every year, the WEF recognizes 200-300 of the most exceptional young leaders worldwide, below the age of 40 years, as Young Global Leaders.
According to UNICEF (2013), 768 million people do not have access to safe, clean drinking water, and 2.5 billion people live without proper sanitation.
